A New Chapter for Steubenville: Glenn Mattern Appointed District Manager

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for both our Steubenville, OH, operations and one of our most dedicated leaders. Beginning in 2026, the Steubenville office will officially transition from oversight by the Cleveland branch to operating as its own independent District Office.

Leading this new chapter is Glenn Mattern, who has been promoted to District Manager in recognition of his exceptional leadership and vision.

A Legacy of Dedication

Glenn’s journey with Fisher Pest Control is a true "climb the ladder" success story. He joined the team in January 2002 as a route technician, learning the business from the ground up. His technical expertise and work ethic led to his promotion to District Service Supervisor in June 2012, a role in which he has excelled for over a decade.

Commitment to Professional Excellence

To prepare for this new level of responsibility, Glenn recently completed the Accelerated Growth Program (AGP) through Evolve YT’s Supervisor Development Series. This rigorous, time-consuming program has equipped Glenn with advanced insights into modern supervision and operational management.

His commitment to this discipline ensures that the Steubenville office isn't just gaining independence—it’s gaining a leader with a highly refined toolkit for success.

Beyond the Office: A Pillar of the Community

What makes Glenn a truly impactful leader is his deep-rooted commitment to his community and family.

  • Family Man: Glenn and his wife, Tracy, have been married for nearly 29 years. They are the proud parents of three children and recently welcomed a granddaughter into the family.

  • Community Leader: Outside of work, Glenn serves as an elder at the First Church of Christ in Cadiz, Ohio.

  • Youth Mentor: His leadership extends to the ballfield, where he coached baseball for two decades and continues to serve as a league treasurer.

Looking Toward the Future

Under Glenn’s guidance, the Steubenville office will focus on two primary goals:

  1. Maintaining Excellence: Ensuring the continued high level of service the Steubenville community expects.

  2. Strategic Expansion: Taking the lead on growing our business presence in the Pittsburgh area.

Please join us in congratulating Glenn Mattern on this well-deserved promotion. We look forward to seeing the Steubenville District thrive under his leadership!
