Rose Pest Solutions is pleased to announce the promotion of George Meacham to district manager of the company’s new offices in Indianapolis and Kokomo, Indiana. Meacham oversees operations for the metropolitan Indianapolis and Kokomo service areas and assumes all aspects of district operations in his new role, specifically those related to client satisfaction and quality control. He also leads the recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees joining the Rose Pest Solutions team and oversees the new district call center that opened earlier this year.
Meacham joined the company in July 2020 after spending the previous seven years at Indiana Pest Control (IPC), the pest management company Rose Pest Solutions acquired as part of a merger in 2019. He was hired at IPC in 2013, spending one year as a technician before being promoted to operations manager, a title he held up until beginning his tenure with Rose Pest Solutions. Meacham previously worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years prior to starting his career in pest management.
“When Rose Pest Solutions acquired Indiana Pest Control in 2019, we were aware of their outstanding tradition and commitment to serving the greater Indianapolis community,” said Jim Ives, president of Rose Pest Solutions. “Because they aligned with our values, we knew their top-notch employees would fit right in with our team. George fits our culture to a ‘T’, and we know he will use his experience in this industry to lead our new offices in Indianapolis and Kokomo.”
Meacham, who resides in Kokomo with his wife and two children, has already immersed himself in his new role – and says he couldn’t be happier continuing his career at a company with a long, storied history such as Rose Pest Solutions.
“Rose Pest Solutions has really welcomed me, and everyone else from Indiana Pest Control, with open arms since our merger last year,” said Meacham. “I’m learning more about this industry every day, and the team has supported me in my new role as district manager. My team and I look forward to providing the very best pest management services to the people and businesses of northern and central Indiana.”
