Rose Pest Solutions is pleased to announce it has been named as one of the Top Workplaces in Michigan by the Detroit Free Press for 2018.
Every year, The Detroit Free Press compiles a list of the top places to work in Michigan based on employee surveys. The winners are highlighted in three different categories: large business, mid-size business, and small business. Rose has been recognized in the mid-size category, a designation that helps set it apart from other Michigan companies providing similar services.
Earning the distinct Top Workplaces honor puts Rose in elite company, as only 151 companies across the state made this year’s list. Selection is based solely on anonymous employee feedback that measured various aspects of Rose’s company culture, including benefits, company values, and community support. The competition is open to any Michigan business or nonprofit organization with at least 50 employees.
Family-owned and operated for more than 150 years, Rose Pest Solutions is the nation’s oldest pest management company. It values strong relationships built on respect for one another within the company, along with those they are fortunate enough to call clients. Offering competitive wages, ongoing paid training and a matching 401K, Rose Pest Solutions prides itself on being a great place to work.
“We are a family here at Rose Pest Solutions,” said owner Russ Ives. “We value everyone in this company, and we love seeing our employees work their way up the ladder to leadership positions.”
Along with advancement opportunities, Rose Pest Solutions also provides employees with paid holiday, vacation, and sick days, as well as insurance packages to provide peace-of-mind to employees and their families. Rose also puts employees through its own rigorous course of training annually to certify members of its team.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage, the third-party research firm that manages the Top Workplaces employee surveys. “Our research shows that organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results.”
Rose Pest Solutions provides prompt, precise and environmentally-friendly residential and commercial pest management treatments, emphasizing the least invasive solutions. Through the expert teachings of on-staff entomologists, Rose’s service technicians are certified through ongoing, customized, in-depth training to make sure every home or business is treated in the best way possible.
