Rose
Pest Solutions is committed to leading the Pest Management Industry by
delivering the most professional, responsive, and innovative pest
management services. In order to maintain this commitment, Rose
Entomologists provide ongoing training programs for The Rose
Technicians. This training provides the Rose Technicians with the
skills and knowledge to meet the ever-changing needs of their
customers.
In
order to provide proper training to our technicians, we employee three
Board Certified Entomologists. They are responsible for the
continuous training of the Rose service technicians. In addition, The
Rose
Entomologists conduct in-house training programs for commercial,
industrial and institutional businesses, as part of our fully
integrated pest management programs. The Rose Entomologists, Mark
Sheperdigian(VP of Technical Services), Gene White(Director of
Training) and Dale Hodgson (Technical Supervisor) are also asked to
speak at various colleges and pest control
associations.

Mr. Mark D. Sheperdigian, B.C.E. VP of Technical Services Mark
is the Vice President of Technical Services for Rose Pest Solutions in
Troy, Michigan. Mark Sheperdigian is a regularly invited speaker to the
Purdue Pest Management Conference. He has been invited to speak at: The
Whitmire Institute of Technology, National Pest Management
Association's Annual Convention, The Kentucky Short Course, the Winter
Meetings of Ohio Pest Control Association and Michigan Pest Control
Association, and numerous technical seminars sponsored by state and
local associations. He has served on the technical committees charged
with developing training programs, training seminars, and technical
position papers; for the last 15 years, He is a respected technical
resource in Michigan for the Michigan Pest Control Association. He is a
member of Pi Chi Omega and is a Board Certified Entomologist.

Eugene D. White II, BCE. Director of Education and Training
Gene White is the Director of Education and Training for Rose Pest Solutions, based in the Troy, Michigan corporate office. He is responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of training programs for Rose’s 240 employees. He also manages the company’s online learning center, coordinates the annual Rose corporate conferences and provides technical support to district offices.
He began his career in urban pest management in 1981, gaining experience as a technician, sales consultant, supervisor, district manager and corporate trainer. He has published many articles for industry publications including a recent article in Whitmire MicroGen’s Quarterly magazine.
Gene is a board-certified entomologist and is a member of the Entomological Society of America, Pi Chi Omega, American Society for Training and Development and the Michigan Pest Control Association’s Education Committee. In 2005, Gene was named Operations Champion of the Year by Copesan for his extensive work in introducing and training in hand held technology for service technicians.
Gene earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Glennville State College in Glenville, West Virginia, and a master’s degree in entomology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Gene is particularly interested in ants, bees and wasps. In his free time, he enjoys inline skate racing, archery and is also an accomplished nature photographer. His photographic work has been published in Michigan Natural Resources, Indiana Outdoors, Pest Control Technology, and Pest Control Magazines and has appeared on the Discovery Channel.

Mr. Dale R. Hodgson, B.C.E. Regional Technical Supervisor Dale Hodgson is the regional technical supervisor responsible for providing technical support and training to Rose Pest Solutions' Ohio-based operations. He is based in the Company's Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio office. Hodgson is widely respected for his active presence in industry associations and his many published articles. A board-certified entomologist and member of the Entomological Society of America, Hodgson has a varied background, with experience in both outdoor and structural pest management. Before joining Rose, he spent 14 years with the University of Michigan, developing and implementing the school's pest management programs. Hodgson is a respected technical resource throughout the pest control industry. His articles have been published in Facilities Management and Pest Control Technology magazines and he served as Education Committee Chairman on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Pest Control Association from 1997 until 2004. Hodgson is also renowned for developing and presenting training seminars for the Michigan Pest Control Association, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and the Ohio Pest Control Association. His work has been recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency for its contribution to the development of Michigan's Integrated Pest Management training programs. Hodgson holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio and a bachelor's degree in natural resources from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Hodgson has a particular interest in newly emerging and the resurgence of pests in urban and structural settings and pests of public health significance. In his free time, he builds and flies model and high-powered rockets.
